Snow Removal in Fort Garry, Winnipeg
Fort Garry snow clearing for older streets and new Waverley West crescents alike, from Linden Woods to Bridgwater and St. Norbert.
Winnipeg Residential Snow Removal clears snow across Fort Garry, from the streets that went up after the war to the newest crescents of Waverley West. Waverley West has added a whole new suburb here since 2005, which makes Fort Garry two very different places to clear snow.
Fort Garry’s two building booms
Fort Garry was a rural municipality from 1912, carved from the RM of St. Vital, until it joined Winnipeg in the 1972 amalgamation. It grew quickly after the war, from about 8,200 people in 1951 to more than 26,000 by 1971, more than tripling in twenty years.
The second boom is still under way. The province approved Waverley West in 2005 for a build-out of roughly twenty years, and it brings townhomes, condos, apartments and single-family houses into the same new suburb, with Kenaston Boulevard extended through it. A house on one of the older streets and a townhome row in Bridgwater need very different plans, so we quote each one on its own.
The neighbourhoods we clear in Fort Garry
The City groups Fort Garry into two halves, and we clear both:
- Fort Garry North. Beaumont, Brockville, Chevrier, Crescent Park, Linden Ridge, Linden Woods, Maybank, Point Road, Whyte Ridge and Wildwood.
- Fort Garry South. Fort Richmond, Waverley Heights, Richmond West, St. Norbert, University, Bridgwater, Fairfield Park, Prairie Pointe, South Pointe, Richmond Lakes and more.
The University of Manitoba’s main campus sits in the middle of the district, and the football stadium and Century Arena are here too, so a nearby intersection is the most useful thing to include with your quote request.
